Strategy and consulting
Communication strategy, market research and marketing advice, done by people who also execute and therefore do not propose plans nobody can carry out.
What it covers
Communication strategy
Positioning, message and channels: what to say, to whom, where and how often, with priorities rather than a list of everything that could possibly be done.
Market research
Demand, competition and pricing in the area the company operates in, before investing in campaigns or launching a new product.
Marketing and channel advice
Which communication channels make sense for you and which to explore next, how to position yourself and how to read the numbers you already have. Continuous support on decisions, with direct access to the people doing the work and looking at the data every week.
How we work
Margins, seasonality, capacity to respond and where customers come in today. Without this, any marketing plan is decoration.
Real demand, competition and prices being charged: what the market already looks for, and at what cost.
Strategy is mostly deciding what not to do. We come out with priorities, and with what is being left out stated explicitly.
Regular reviews with the numbers in front of us, to correct early instead of waiting for the end of the year.
When it makes sense to work together
- You are deciding where to invest over the coming months and want to decide with data.
- You already spend on marketing but cannot say what is working.
- You are preparing a product launch or entry into a new market.
- You are looking for a sixty-page plan to present to third parties.
- You want validation for a decision that has already been made.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a one-off or an ongoing service?
It can be a closed piece of work (market research or a communication strategy with a beginning and an end) or ongoing support. With the clients we have worked with longest, it is the second that settles in naturally.
Do you have to be the ones executing afterwards?
No. The strategy is delivered so that it can be executed by another team or in house. We only think it is fair to say that it is cheaper and faster when whoever planned it also executes it.
What size of company do you work with?
Mostly small and medium companies, where the decision maker is reachable and a decision can be made in a meeting instead of in a committee.
